2026 Steeden What's The Magic Number Competition

By entering “2026 Steeden What's the Magic Number competition", entrants are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The Promoter is GRAY-NICOLLS Sports Pty Ltd (GNS) (ABN 75 004 999 044) of 45 Wangara Road, Cheltenham VIC 3192, Australia. Phone: +61 (0)3 8541 9999. The registered office for GRAY-NICOLLS Sports Pty Ltd in Auckland is RSM House, Level 2, 62 Highbrook Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland. Steeden is a brand owned by GRAY-NICOLLS Sports.
  2. Prizes: Five (5) prizes are available. The first person to guess the correct amount of balls in the container will get first choice of the below prizes. The remaining prizes will then be chosen in order by the next 4 (four) people that correctly guess the amount of balls.

    These prizes include Two (2) tickets to the 2026 NRL Grand Final valued at ($558), Two (2) tickets to a 2026 State of Origin Game of their choice valued at ($298), One (1) signed 2026 Westpac NSW Blues Supporter ball signed by the team valued at ($250), One (1) signed 2026 QLD Maroons Supporter ball signed by the team valued at ($300) and One (1) steeden.com.au website voucher valued at $250. Travel, accommodation, meals, transfers and any ancillary costs are not included for ticketed prizes.

    If no winner - the prizes will be award to the five closest guesses of the amount of balls in the container that were first to comment.
  3. Promotional Period: The promotion commences at 6am AEST on 14/05/2026 and closes at 11.59am AEST on 17/05/2026. Entries received after the closing dates shown above will be ineligible for entry. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late, or discarded entries.
  4. Eligibility: Entry is only open to residents of Australia. Employees (and the immediate families of employees) of the Promoter and associated agencies are ineligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
  5. Method of Entry: Entrants will have to:  Like the designated post, follow the @steeden_official and comment the amount of balls in the Steeden container. Edited comments will be deemed invalid. Limited to one (1) entry per Instagram account. Deleted comments and reposted comments will be treated as new entries based on the repost timestamp. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Entrants release Instagram from any responsibility associated with this promotion.
  6. Winner Determination: Five (5) winners will be selected in order of earliest correct guess in the comments, timestamped as recorded by Instagram, at the Promoter’s office at 2pm AEST on 19/05/2026. Winners will be notified by direct message on social media, within one (1) hour of the competition. The winner’s names will be published on Steeden's Instagram story (@steeden_official) immediately after they have been notified.
  7. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact any winners within one (1) week of the prize being selected then the prize is forfeited and the earliest valid comment timestamp will prevail at 2pm AEST on 26/05/2026. The re-selected winner will be notified direct message on social media, within one (1) day of the selected and the re-selected winner’s details will be published on Steeden's Instagram story (@steeden_official) immediately after they have been notified.
  8. Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the winner’s details for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
  9. All contestants release from, and indemnify GRAY-NICOLLS Sports Pty Ltd and its associated companies against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of accepting the prize or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income and/or personal injury.
  10. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
  11. The Promoter collects entrant’s personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Personal information will only be used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
  12. The Promoter’s decisions on all matters regarding the competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. GRAY-NICOLLS Sports Pty Ltd reserves the right to extend, change or terminate this competition at any time. Any changes to this Promotion and/or Terms and Conditions relating to the promotion (including amendments, cancellation or suspension of the promotion), is subject to the requirements of all relevant State and Territory Lottery Departments.
