Darcy was drafted to the GWS Giants with Pick 21 in the 2022 National Draft.

He made his debut in Round 7 of the 2024 season against the Brisbane Lions in Canberra, showing off his customised Steeden helmet which features the GWS colours of orange and charcoal.

His debut performance created headlines with his zippy performance including two goals while wearing the Steeden headgear.
